Can we control which elements are added to the sum total on the PDF, detailed list or calculator today
.##### Q: Can we control which elements' costs are added to the sum total without a detailed list or calculator today?
A: You cannot specifically select a product that has a price on it that is not to get added to the total price on the PDF or detailed list.
If a user selects an item that has a price, it will always get added to the detailed list or calculator total. This is because if the user wants to sum up all the price items inside the PDF or Detailed List View, it needs to match the Total Price, and other reasons are because we have complex logic that rely on the total price adding of correctly.
However, you have a few options:
Option 1. Remove the Element Price:
Remove the price from the item and mark it as zero. Then, add the price to the element or item's title instead.
Option 2. Remove the Price Column:
You can remove the price column on the PDF and Detailed List View from a setting inside the calculator-level settings.
