# Email & PDF: Troubleshooting issues with the email quote and PDF generator

 1. Email is not sending.
 2. PDF files are empty.
 3. Email is sending but PDF is blank.

### Step 1
* Check your **SCC diagnostic screen**. Settle any issues in red with your hosting company, system admin, or web developer. If it doesn't fix it, proceed to the next step.

### Step 2
* Try removing your banner and logo.

**Does that fix it?**

✅ If yes, then try:
* Resize the graphics or upload a different format.
* It means that your server doesn't like the image for some reason.
* Install the **GD PHP Library**. Submit a trouble ticket to your web hosting company and ask, "Please install the PHP GD library."

⭕ If no, then try Step 3.

* Try sending a test email quote from the SMTP plugin.

**Did you receive the email?**

If not, then you have an email SMTP problem. Reach out to your hosting company or email server admin.
