# FAQ: Can we set a fixed price if the total is below a certain amount?

To set a fixed price under certain conditons like a total calculator cost, or if a product or service is selected, you would use the Fee & Discount Adjustment element (formerly Custom Math element). 

* **Step 1**: Add the Fee & Discount Adjustment element to any section or subsection in your cost calculator
* **Step 2**: Add the dollar amount or percentage you want it to add to the calculator total
* **Step 3**: Activate conditional logic in the Advanced Settings.
* **Step 4**: Set the condition of the conditional logic setting to trigger during a certain calculator total (greater or smaller than)
