My calculator takes too long to load
Introduction
If you are experiencing issues with your calculator's loading speed, this article may be helpful.
Number of Elements
There are no limitations on the number of sections, elements, element items, or conditions you can use. However, the more elements you have, the longer the calculator will take to load.
The plugin is optimized to handle a reasonable number of elements without any noticeable increase in page load time.
However, a calculator with more than 60 elements may be considered large, and one with more than 100 elements may experience some lag.
If your calculator is very large, we recommend splitting it into multiple calculators to handle the different categories of elements selected by your users.
Conditional Logic
Adding too many conditional logic rules (more than 80) can also cause load time delays, as each rule requires a specific calculation. Simplifying your conditions can help reduce loading time.
Images
This applies to your website in general, not just your calculator. Large images can increase loading time. Review your images and optimize their file size.
