Q: Is it possible to set a “starting price” (base price) for the cost calculation form?

I want the calculated costs to be added to a starting price. So we have the starting price “X” and the customer chooses an additional option for 29,00€. From this follows: “X + 29,00 €”.

A: Yes, you can set a starting price (base price) in two different ways.

Method #1:

Fee & Discount Adjuster - Utilize the Fee & Discount Adjuster element to set a static price for a base fee.

Method #2:

Set any element to be selected on the page load and enable the mandatory setting.

1. Add a dropdown.
2. Title it as the base price (or starting price).
3. Make it default selected.
4. Enable the mandatory setting in the advanced settings menu.
