Email & PDF: Troubleshooting issues with the email quote and PDF generator
Problem
- Email is not sending.
- PDF files are empty.
- Email is sending but PDF is blank.
Solution
Step 1
- Check your SCC diagnostic screen. Settle any issues in red with your hosting company, system admin, or web developer. If it doesn't fix it, proceed to the next step.
Step 2
- Try removing your banner and logo.
Does that fix it?
✅ If yes, then try:
- Resize the graphics or upload a different format.
- It means that your server doesn't like the image for some reason.
- Install the GD PHP Library. Submit a trouble ticket to your web hosting company and ask, "Please install the PHP GD library."
⭕ If no, then try Step 3.
Step 3
- Try sending a test email quote from the SMTP plugin.
Did you receive the email?
If not, then you have an email SMTP problem. Reach out to your hosting company or email server admin.
